About the service
These terms apply to DocPingo, operated by Akram Afanga, trading as DocPingo. DocPingo helps accountants request, collect and export client documents. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. DocPingo is a document collection tool and does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
Your account and documents
Keep your account secure and only collect or upload documents you are authorized to handle. You retain ownership of your content and allow us to process it to provide the service. Do not use DocPingo for unlawful content, spam, malware or unauthorized access. You are responsible for the accuracy of contacts and for sending invitations and reminders to the right person. Opening a messaging app does not confirm message delivery.
Free credits and Unlimited
Free accounts receive 5 one-time credits. Each new request or reminder uses 1 credit; the initial invitation is included with the request. An eligible campaign code grants 5 extra credits once per account. Unlimited costs $9 USD per month and includes unlimited requests and reminders and the option to receive original images. File size, storage and export limits still apply. Free image uploads are optimized, which can change image quality. PDFs keep their format.
Subscriptions and payments
When paid checkout is available, Paddle.com is our online reseller and the Merchant of Record for orders. Paddle handles payments, billing customer service and returns. The price, taxes and recurring billing terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Manage or cancel from Settings → Go Unlimited → Manage subscription, or through your Paddle receipt. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the paid period ends. Our refund policy explains refunds; applicable consumer rights remain unchanged.
Files, exports and archiving
Download or export files you need to keep. Archiving permanently deletes uploaded files, keeps request information and history, and disables the client link. Automatic archiving does the same when enabled. Download preparation locks client editing. Clients needing corrections after that must contact their accountant for a new request. DocPingo is not a permanent document archive or a backup service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free exports. Check documents and exported files before relying on them. We may restrict misuse or suspend access to protect the service. If prices or these terms change, we will update the published information and provide any notice required for existing subscriptions. Contact support for account or service problems. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
